Passengers face disruptions as severe weather hits Kazakhstan airport

Nursultan Nazarbayev International Airport in Kazakhstan has alerted passengers about disruptions caused by severe weather conditions, including freezing rain.

The airport administration stated that all services are operating in heightened mode and taking necessary measures to ensure flight safety, Caliber.Az reports via Kazakh media.

Current flight status shows 11 arrivals delayed and one cancelled due to weather, while departures include four delayed flights.

The press service of Astana Airport noted that the primary cause of delays is the late arrival of aircraft affected by the weather.
