Pezeshkian: Iran’s economic crisis is becoming second battlefield

Iran’s economy has become the country’s main battlefield following military attacks, President Masoud Pezeshkian said on July 20, warning that growing economic pressure could fuel public discontent.

Speaking at a meeting of the High Council of the Judiciary, Pezeshkian said Iran was facing a “full-scale war” that extended beyond direct military confrontation, Iran International reports.

He warned that deteriorating economic conditions and mounting pressure on people’s livelihoods could weaken public support if social discontent continued to grow.
