Pezeshkian says war benefits no one, calls for negotiation over conflict

War serves the interests of neither Iran nor the United States, and diplomatic channels must be used to resolve conflicts, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said during an inspection visit to the Ministry of Justice.

“War brings no benefit to anyone, and while simultaneously confronting threats, all reasonable and diplomatic ways must be used to reduce tensions. At the same time, distrust of the adversary and vigilance in interactions are an indisputable necessity,” he stated, emphasising a rational approach to regional and international developments.

“Strengthening unity among Islamic countries is the most important way to counter conspiracies and prevent exploitation by external powers. In an atmosphere of mutual understanding, honesty, and collective participation, this stage can be overcome, and the path of dignity and national development can continue,” Pezeshkian added.
