Pezeshkian: Trump has no grounds to strip Iran of nuclear rights

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian stated that US President Donald Trump has no grounds to deprive the Islamic Republic of its nuclear rights, ISNA reports.

“Trump says that Iran should not exercise its nuclear rights, but does not explain what its fault is. Who is he to deprive a nation of its legitimate rights?” Pezeshkian said.

He added that Tehran must demonstrate through its actions that it is “not fueling war, but defending itself.”
