Pezeshkian urges Islamic unity as Iran displays enhanced military might
During a military parade in Tehran, President Massoud Pezeshkian underscored Iran's deterrent power, stating it has effectively safeguarded the country from foreign invasions.
Pezeshkian commended the Iranian army, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), and volunteer forces for their unwavering loyalty during the eight years of the Iraq-imposed war in the 1980s, Caliber.Az reports via Iranian media.
He asserted that global powers have been unable to obstruct the advancement of the Islamic Revolution.
“Today, Iran's defence capabilities are so formidable that no enemy would dare to even consider aggression against our land,” he declared.
Highlighting Iran's self-defence capabilities, Pezeshkian emphasized that unity and solidarity among Islamic countries are essential for ensuring regional peace and security.
The parade also featured the unveiling of a new ballistic missile and an upgraded one-way attack drone.
