PM: Georgia of great importance to Europe in terms of connectivity
Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze has arrived in Yerevan to participate in the eighth summit of the European Political Community, where he is expected to engage with European leaders on regional and economic issues.
Speaking ahead of the meeting, Kobakhidze said he intends to use the summit’s roundtable format to address key priorities and hold bilateral talks with counterparts. He emphasised the strategic importance of the South Caucasus, highlighting Georgia’s role as a regional connector, Caliber.Az reprts via Georgian media.
“The role of the South Caucasus, and Georgia in particular, is unique. We connect seven countries to the Black Sea and, consequently, to the West in economic and trade terms,” he said. “Georgia is of great importance to Europe in terms of connectivity.”
