PM: Georgia to unveil 11-year development strategy through 2036
The Georgian government plans to draw up a long-term strategic development plan extending through 2036, Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze said.
“We want to fully resolve all issues and, among other things, want to strategically plan the country’s development in the long-term perspective. We have already announced that the plan will be developed through 2036 inclusive. This will be an 11-year plan that will reflect specific priorities and concrete actions, on the basis of which the objectives should be achieved,” Kobakhidze said, Caliber.Az reports, referencing Georgian media.
The prime minister also noted that one of the government’s key targets under the strategy is to ensure economic growth of at least 6–7 per cent.
