Putin says Russia must be prepared for anything

Russia must be prepared for anything, and only this will make it clear to anyone seeking to harm the country that it is better not to do so, Russian President Vladimir Putin has said.

Speaking at the plenary session of the Eastern Economic Forum, he addressed the issue of mobilisation in Russia, noting that currently there is no need for such a measure, Caliber.Az reports, citing Russian media.

“Rumours about mobilisation are an information attack,” the Russian president stressed.

However, he added that the country’s air defence system needs to be strengthened.
