"In light of false reports circulating publicly, I want to stress firmly: claims about the alleged provision of Polish airspace for offensive operations against the Russian Federation are completely false and have no basis," General Klisz said.

He noted that, at the request of the Operational Command, a no-fly zone has been imposed in eastern Poland from March 10 to June 9, 2026. The restriction applies to all aircraft flying below 3 kilometres and is enforced 24 hours a day. Exceptions are made for civil and medical aviation, which must obtain special clearance to operate in the restricted area.
"These measures are purely preventive and are designed to protect the lives and health of citizens and ensure the security of state infrastructure," Klisz added.
