Poland, NATO conduct major military drills near Russian border
The Polish Armed Forces, together with troops from several NATO member states, have launched large-scale military drills dubbed Dzielny Dzik 25 (“Brave Boar - 25”) at the Orzysz training ground in northeastern Poland, just 70 kilometres from the border with Russia's Kaliningrad region.
The tactical drills, which are the largest this year for Poland’s 16th Mechanised Division, aim to enhance interoperability between NATO forces under realistic combat conditions, including day and night operations across varied terrain and weather, Caliber.Az reports via the General Staff of the Polish Armed Forces’ X account.
