Poland third-largest global donor to Ukraine, after US and Germany
Poland provided over 100 billion zlotys (around $30 billion) in aid to Ukraine between 2022 and 2024, according to a report by the Council for Cooperation with Ukraine under Prime Minister (PM) Donald Tusk.
The document notes that this places Poland third in the world in terms of aid, after the United States and Germany, which allocated approximately $79 billion and $38 billion, respectively, during the same period, Caliber.Az reports, citing the Polish government portal.
Regarding military support, the report states that between 2022 and 2024, Poland supplied Ukraine with 586 armoured vehicles, 137 artillery systems, 318 tanks, 10 Mi-24 helicopters, and 10 MiG-29 fighter jets.
Poland has been one of Ukraine’s most steadfast allies since the Russian invasion in 2022, providing substantial financial and military support.
Beyond direct aid, Warsaw has facilitated the transit of humanitarian supplies and coordinated with NATO partners to strengthen Ukraine’s defence capabilities.
The country’s support includes both lethal and non-lethal military equipment, logistical assistance, and funding for reconstruction efforts.
