Poland to ban Ukrainian grain supplies
Former Polish Minister of Agriculture, and presidential adviser Jan Krzysztof Ardanowski has said that Poland is likely to ban Ukrainian grain supplies and will not allow the EU relevant decision to be made.
“I can’t imagine that the situation which happened a year ago, that is, a huge batch of grain from Ukraine, which greatly destabilised our market, would happen again,” Ardanowski said, RMF 24 radio reports.
He accused Ukraine of trying to enter the European grain market as a result of "pity" and "sympathy" that the European countries feel for Kyiv. Moreover, Ukraine constantly tried to enter the European grain market before the military conflict.
Ardanowski added that Ukrainians should know that Europe does not need Ukraine’s grain, it should be sent to the needy countries.
