Police arrest over 70 in major organised crime raids in Türkiye PHOTO

Authorities in Türkiye have carried out a large-scale operation targeting two organised crime groups in the central city of Konya.

Police detained 73 suspects, including the leaders of both gangs, during the raids, Caliber.Az reports via Turkish media.

Officers seized assets worth over $700 million, including property, vehicles, cash, foreign currency, and unlicensed firearms.

The suspects are believed to be involved in armed robberies, drug trafficking, unlawful detention, and other criminal activities.
