Police foil road blockade attempt, detain dozens of protesters in Yerevan

Police in Yerevan have apprehended 41 demonstrators involved in protests aimed at impeding traffic across the city, Caliber.Az reports.

The Armenian Interior Ministry's press service confirmed the detentions to Armenian media, citing the protesters' refusal to comply with police instructions. As a result, all roads have been cleared for unrestricted movement.

Earlier in the day, six individuals were arrested in Echmiadzin on suspicion of possessing weapons and ammunition. Reports suggest they were part of a revanchist group planning to confront Prime Minister Pashinyan during his visit to a local school.
