20 September 2022 09:05
In Iran, the police have opened fire on demonstrators in the city of Divander.
According to Trend, the rally was held on September 19 to protest the murder of 22-year-old Mahsa Amini by Tehran's morality police.
As previously reported, the girl was beaten to death for her appearance inappropriate to Sharia rules.
She was detained by a special detachment of police, known as "Irshad", which monitors the observance of Sharia norms in the capital city. The girl, who was seen in the street in an ordinary headscarf, was accused of wearing the hijab incorrectly.
