Political analyst regrets over low level of sovereignty in Armenia
Armenian political analyst Sergei Melkonian has said that the Armenian Foreign Ministry, the Security Council and the National Security Service made contradictory statements.
“The Armenian Foreign Ministry and the Security Council made a statement that Russian military personnel did not allow EU observers to enter Armenia’s Nerkin Hand village while the National Security Service made a statement that Russian border guards do not interfere with the activity of the European mission on any section of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border,” Caliber.Az reports citing Melkonian’s message on Telegram.
“Armenia incorrectly fulfills its functions. These discrepancies often occur. The matter rests on national security. In fact, there is a dispute on the territory of a sovereign country, according to which one external force does not interfere with another external force to ensure security. This shows Armenia’s inability to ensure its own security and a historically low level of sovereignty," he added.
