President Aliyev says Azerbaijani delegation ready to start negotiations on peace agreement

President Ilham Aliyev said the Azerbaijani delegation was ready to start negotiations on a peace agreement with Armenia.

The remarks came from the Azerbaijani president in a meeting with the delegation led by US Deputy Assistant Secretary of State overseeing policy for Southern Europe and the Caucasus Erika Olson on Wednesday., Caliber.Az reports, citing the president’s official website.

During the meeting, the sides focused on the prospects for developing bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and the United States. It was also noted that this year marked the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Azerbaijan and the United States. During this period, successful cooperation has been established between the two countries, particularly in the energy sector.
