President Erdogan: Türkiye, Russia reach agreement to switch to trading in roubles

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has said that an agreement on trading in roubles was reached during negotiations with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Sochi.
“We signed a "road map" for economic cooperation, in which there is an intention to bring trade turnover between the countries to $100 billion,” Kommersant reports referring to the Turkish president.
Moreover, the Turkish president added that there is "great progress" because the Russian Mir card is accepted by the country's credit organisations.
President Erdogan also said that during negotiations in Sochi on August 5, he offered Russian President Vladimir Putin to meet Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelenskyy in Türkiye.
