President: Kazakhstan to follow sanctions regime against Russia

Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has said that his country will definitely follow the sanctions regime against Russia.

He made the remarks during a meeting with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, according to Kommersant.

“Kazakhstan has clearly stated that it will follow the sanctions regime. We have contacts with the relevant organizations to comply with the sanctions regime, and it seems to me that there should be no concerns on the German side regarding possible actions aimed at circumventing the sanctions regime,” Tokayev said.
