President Putin: Russia in constant touch with Azerbaijan, Armenia

Russian President Vladimir Putin has said that Moscow is in constant contact with Azerbaijan and Armenia, as well as representatives of residents of Armenian origin in Garabagh.

President Putin made these remarks while commenting on the latest events in the Garabagh region of Azerbaijan at a meeting with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi, TASS reports.

He noted that the Russian side expects the situation around Garabagh to be peacefully resolved.

“I hope that we will be able to achieve de-escalation and resolve this problem peacefully,” the Russian leader said.

He added that Russian peacekeepers are actively working with all parties involved in this conflict.
