President Tokayev invites Trump to visit Kazakhstan during phone call
Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev held a telephone conversation with US President Donald Trump and invited him to visit Kazakhstan, the presidential press service said.
During the call, Tokayev congratulated Trump on the 250th anniversary of US independence, noting that the country had become a powerful global state within a relatively short historical period, Caliber.Az reports, citing Kazakh media.
The two leaders also exchanged views on bilateral economic cooperation and political interaction.
Tokayev highlighted the strong momentum in implementing key agreements reached during his visit to Washington in November last year.
The Kazakh president concluded the conversation by inviting Trump to pay an official visit to Kazakhstan at a time convenient for him.
