Putin announces new Russian weapons as tests show promising results

Russian President Vladimir Putin has announced that new types of weapons will soon be unveiled in Russia.

Putin said that the weaponry, which was previously announced, is currently undergoing tests that are progressing successfully, Caliber.Az reports via Russian media.

“Our response to the Tomahawk is the strengthening of Russia’s air defence system,” he said.

The Russian leader also noted that a certain arms race is already underway globally. He warned that Russia would respond in kind should any country decide to conduct actual nuclear weapons tests.
