Putin arrives in India for talks with Modi at BRICS summit

Russian President Vladimir Putin has arrived in New Delhi for a three-day visit linked to the BRICS summit, as India prepares for talks between Putin and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Putin arrived on September 11, with his government-operated Il-96 aircraft landing at Palam Air Force Station, Caliber.Az reports, citing Russian media.

He is due to hold bilateral talks with Modi and visit the Innoprom exhibition with the Indian prime minister. The exhibition has been organised by the industry and trade ministries of Russia and India.

Putin is also scheduled to address the BRICS Business Forum on September 11.
