Putin briefs Security Council on Pacific Fleet drills

Russian President Vladimir Putin has briefed members of the Security Council on the results of recent exercises conducted by the Pacific Fleet, following his participation in the drills earlier this week.

Putin held an operational meeting with Security Council members, the Kremlin press service announced.

The meeting also focused on efforts to preserve what Russian authorities describe as traditional spiritual and moral values in the cultural and creative sectors.

“The President also briefed the participants of the meeting on the results of the Pacific Fleet exercises, which the head of state attended earlier this week,” the Kremlin press service said.
