Putin continues work on Middle East situation, Kremlin says
Russian President Vladimir Putin will hold an international telephone call as he continues to focus on the escalating situation in the Middle East, the Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said.
Peskov told reporters the call is scheduled for the second half of the day, adding that further details would be disclosed in due course, Caliber.Az reports via Russian media.
“The president has an international telephone conversation scheduled for the second half of the day. We will inform you as well,” Peskov said.
He added that Putin “continues to work on the crisis situation that is developing and, unfortunately, further escalating in the Middle East,” noting that this area has taken up a significant amount of the president’s time in recent days.
