Putin has no plans to discuss sunken Russian warship

Russian President Vladimir Putin does not plan to hold a meeting to discuss the situation with the “Moskva” cruiser, the Spokesperson for the Kremlin, Dmitry Peskov, said, TASS informs.

“No, such meetings are not planned by the President,” the Kremlin spokesperson said in response to a related question. “This is the prerogative of the military,” said Peskov.

The warship, which was the flagship of Russia’s Black Sea fleet, was hit by the Ukrainian forces on April 14. The Russian Defense Ministry initially confirmed its operability despite the serious damages; however, it was later reported to be sunken while being towed to port.
