Putin, Netanyahu discuss Iran in phone talks

Russian President Vladimir Putin has held a phone call with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to discuss the current situation in the Middle East and developments surrounding Iran.

According to a statement from the Russian presidency, Putin outlined Russia’s key positions, stressing the need to intensify political and diplomatic efforts to ensure stability and security in the region.

During the talks, Russia reaffirmed its readiness to continue playing a mediating role and to support the advancement of constructive dialogue involving all interested states.
