Putin reports heavy Ukrainian casualties, warns hostilities persist until withdrawal

Russian President Vladimir Putin stated that Ukrainian forces incurred 47,000 casualties in October, emphasizing that hostilities will continue until Ukrainian troops withdraw from occupied positions.

He made the remarks during a press conference following the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) summit in Bishkek, Caliber.Az reports, citing Russian media.

Putin highlighted that positive momentum is being maintained across all fronts of Russia’s “special military operation,” with the pace of advancement increasing.

The Russian president also condemned the confiscation of Russian assets in Europe, describing such actions as theft and asserting that they constitute an unlawful seizure of property.
