Putin's envoy to discuss Russia-US cooperation with Elon Musk
Discussions on future cooperation between Russia and the United States will take place soon with American entrepreneur Elon Musk, according to Kirill Dmitriev, the special representative of the Russian President for investment and economic cooperation with foreign countries.
Dmitriev, who is also the CEO of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF), made the announcement to journalists on the sidelines of the annual congress of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, Caliber.Az reports via Russian media.
In his statement, Dmitriev emphasized Musk’s potential role in advancing collaborative efforts, highlighting the entrepreneur as a "unique leader" with a focus on uniting humanity.
"We believe that Musk is a unique leader aimed at making humanity move forward together," Dmitriev said in response to a related query.
Regarding the return of American companies to Russia, Dmitriev noted that it would be challenging for them to re-enter the Russian market independently. He suggested that the most viable approach for these companies would be to establish joint ventures with successful Russian businesses.
"Those of the American companies that will be returning, they will be able to return only by creating joint ventures with Russian companies that have already shown their success," Dmitriev added.
