Putin warns US against supplying Tomahawk missiles to Ukraine
The transfer of long-range Tomahawk cruise missiles to the Armed Forces of Ukraine would nullify the positive trends in relations between Washington and Moscow, Russian President Vladimir Putin said.
Putin made the remarks in an interview with journalist Pavel Zarubin, Caliber.Az reports, citing Russian media.
“You mentioned the President of the United States, but there were also discussions about the potential supply of new weapons systems — including long-range, high-precision Tomahawks and others. I have already said that this would lead to the destruction of our relations, or at least of the positive tendencies that have begun to emerge,” Putin stated.
He added that the development of the situation “depends not only on us and not only on me.”
