Reps of over 10 countries observing Efes-2022 exercises in Türkiye PHOTO/VIDEO
The targets of a mock enemy are fired upon as part of the Efes-2022 planned international exercises in western Türkiye on June 9, 2022.
Turkish Minister of National Defence Hulusi Akar, heads of defence departments and chiefs of general staffs of more than ten countries are observing the exercises at the Doganbey training ground in the Seferihisar region near Izmir.
The representatives of the US, Germany, Albania, Azerbaijan, Austria, France, Georgia, Iraq, Latvia, Macedonia, Uzbekistan, Hungary, Pakistan, Kosovo, Kazakhstan, Iraq and the UK are observing the exercises, according to Anadolu Agency.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan also visited the training ground.
Up to 11,000 military personnel, including about 1,100 foreign ones from 37 countries are taking part in the Efes-2022 exercises.
The purpose of the exercises is to work out the interaction of military units from various countries and to increase preparation for war scenarios.
