Rescue teams find over 100 remains at explosion site near Khankandi The remains to be sent to Armenia for expertise

The remains found in the territory of the fuel warehouse near Khankandi will be transported to Armenia for DNA testing.

“Rescue teams continue holding search operations in the territory of the fuel warehouse where the explosion occurred. A total of 170 bodies and remains were transported from the territory to the expertise department while personal belongings - to the operational headquarters,” Caliber.Az reports citing the Armenian media.

A powerful explosion occurred in a fuel storage facility near Khankandi on September 25. According to preliminary data, about 300 people were hospitalised. Some 105 people are listed as missing. The number of victims is still being determined.
