Residential building targeted in East Azerbaijan, 3 killed

A residential building in the Zafaran district of Tabriz, East Azerbaijan province of Iran, was reportedly struck in the early hours of March 11 by forces from United States and Israel.

According to a statement from the Director General of the province’s Emergency Management Department, the attack left three people dead and four others injured, Tasnim News Agency reports.

The Zafaran district, a residential neighborhood of Tabriz, has faced heightened security alerts following previous regional escalations, and emergency services were quickly deployed to respond to the aftermath of the strike.
