Revanchist archbishop, Karabakh clan seek to oust PM Pashinyan
The leader of the Armenian Revanchist Movement, Archbishop Bagrat Galstanyan, has discussed details of the upcoming 22 September rally with MPs from the parliamentary opposition.
The meeting with opposition MPs lasted 2 hours and was held in the office of Seyran Ohanyan, head of former President Robert Kocharyan's Armenia faction, Caliber.Az reports, citing Armenian media.
It was the first time that a meeting in such a format was held between them in the parliament. It was initiated by Bagrat Galstanyan himself.
The main topic of discussion was the 22 September rally and the issue of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's ouster under public pressure. Galstanyan presented his agenda, while the opposition expressed its readiness to support the movement - both in parliament and in the street struggle. The revanchist archbishop also presented the results of meetings with representatives of various spheres.
“Galstanyan and the opposition confirmed that the key to the movement's success is in ensuring broad public consolidation,” the media report says.
Earlier it became known that Galstanyan met with former Armenian presidents Robert Kocharyan and Serzh Sargsyan.
