Rising Middle East tensions prompt Air Astana to suspend Dubai flights

Kazakhstan’s Air Astana has announced the temporary suspension of its flights to Dubai from July 21 through August 31.

The airline said the decision was made due to the deteriorating security situation in the Strait of Hormuz area and the broader Middle East region, Caliber.Az reports via Kazakh media.

Flights will continue to operate as scheduled until July 21 in order to facilitate the transportation of passengers who have already planned their travel.

Passengers who have purchased tickets for the affected period will be offered a full refund, free rebooking for later dates, or a complimentary rerouting to other international Air Astana destinations.
