Rossiya Airlines plane declares emergency after cabin depressurisation video / updated
A passenger aircraft operated by Rossiya Airlines issued an emergency distress signal after a reported cabin depressurisation during a flight in Russia.
According to the Telegram channel SHOT, the aircraft transmitted the emergency code “7700” approximately 30 minutes after taking off from Krasnoyarsk on a flight bound for Yakutsk.
The aircraft, an Airbus A319, was carrying 120 passengers and six crew members.
After declaring the emergency, the plane turned around while flying above the village of Boguchany and began returning to Krasnoyarsk.
The aircraft is currently circling near the departure airport in order to burn off fuel before landing.

The Telegram channel SHOT reported that the aircraft, an Airbus A319 with tail number RA-73205, had been operating a flight from Krasnoyarsk to Yakutsk when it transmitted the emergency squawk code 7700, which indicates a potential emergency or critical situation on board.
Data from online flight tracking services suggested that the signal was cleared after some time.
The aircraft continued flying until reaching the area near the village of Boguchany before the crew decided to return to the departure airport.
The reasons for the emergency signal remain unknown. Later reports indicated that the aircraft landed at Krasnoyarsk Airport.
