Russia blocks one of Sakhalin’s biggest websites

One of the biggest information websites of Russia’s Sakhalin island, namely, Sakh.com and Sakhalin.info, have been blocked upon the decision of the Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation.

Both websites were included in the list of blocked websites on August 5, according to Roskomnadzor (the Russian Federal Service for Supervision of Communications, Information Technology and Mass Media.)

According to local media, one of the reasons for blocking Sakh.com was the negative comments related to the Russian "special operation" in Ukraine on the website's forum.
