Russia cancels aerial part of May 9 parade in Moscow

The aerial part of the May 9 Victory Parade has been cancelled.

On that morning, parade troops, cadets from military units and domestic military institutes marched through Red Square, and military equipment of the Russian Armed Forces drove by, Gazeta.ru reports

This year, seven foreign leaders came to Moscow to celebrate Victory Day: the leaders of Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Armenia, and Belarus.

In 2022, the air portion of the parade was also cancelled due to weather conditions.
