Russia eyes full potential in bilateral relations with Azerbaijan, foreign ministry confirms
Moscow is committed to unlocking the full potential of its bilateral relations with Baku, Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova stated.
Speaking at a briefing, Zakharova emphasized that Russia’s relationship with Azerbaijan is grounded in the Declaration on Allied Interaction, which was signed at the highest level in February 2022, Caliber.Az reports per Russian media.
She reiterated Moscow’s determination to fully realize the potential of this key agreement and address emerging issues in a manner that is mutually beneficial and respectful.
“We are building relations with Baku on the basis of the Declaration on Allied Interaction signed at the highest level in February 2022. Our side is determined to consistently unlock the full potential of this key document for bilateral relations, to resolve all emerging issues on a mutually beneficial, mutually respectful basis,” Zakharova stated.
The diplomat further highlighted the ongoing high-level exchanges between the two nations, noting that both governments and foreign ministries continue to maintain a series of regular contacts to strengthen cooperation in various areas.
