Russia claims shooting down 160 Ukrainian drones in one day
The Russian Ministry of Defence has announced that its air defence forces intercepted a large-scale attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, reportedly shooting down 160 aircraft-type unmanned aerial vehicles in a single day.
According to the ministry's statement, an additional five guided aerial bombs were also shot down by Russian forces, Caliber.Az reports.
Moreover, the ministry said that the Black Sea Fleet destroyed a high-speed unmanned boat belonging to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Since the start of Russia's war to Ukraine, Russian authorities have regularly released figures on Ukrainian equipment losses. These reports claim the destruction of hundreds of aircraft and helicopters, tens of thousands of drones, and thousands of tanks, armoured vehicles, artillery pieces, and rocket launcher systems. The data also includes large numbers of surface-to-air missile systems and specialised military vehicles.
