Russia claims strikes on Starlink-linked centre, port facility and bridge

Russia’s Defence Ministry said on Saturday, September 26, that its forces had struck several targets in Ukraine overnight, including a data centre in Kyiv that it alleged supported Starlink systems used by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

According to the ministry, cited by local media, Russian forces also struck a dry cargo vessel in the Black Sea.

In the Odesa region, the ministry said a port facility in Vylkove had been hit. It alleged that the site was used to receive weapons and ammunition from Europe.

The ministry also reported a strike on a logistics centre operated by Ukrainian postal company Nova Poshta, where it claimed military cargo destined for Ukrainian forces was stored.

A road bridge in Mayaky, Odesa region, was also struck, the ministry said, alleging that the crossing was being used to transport military supplies for the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
