Russia claims Ukrainian MiG-29 shot down

Russia’s Aerospace Forces have shot down a MiG-29 fighter aircraft belonging to the Ukrainian Air Force, the Russian Defence Ministry said on August 18, Tass reports.

“Russia’s Aerospace Forces shot down a MiG-29 aircraft of the Ukrainian Air Force,” the ministry said.

No further details about the reported incident were provided.
