Russia denies producing Iranian drones

Director of the Russian Foreign Ministry's Non-Proliferation and Arms Control Department Vladimir Yermakov has dismissed as “groundless” the information that Russia will produce Iranian drones on its territory.

Yermakov said there was no confirmation of "speculations" regarding Iranian UAVs, Kommersant reports.

“All these are baseless assumptions, the pursuit of groundless facts to divert world attention from the main thing - the speedy restart of the JCPOA [Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action] in line with the parameters that were agreed back in 2015,” he said.

Earlier, The Washington Post (WP) reported that Moscow and Tehran had reached a relevant agreement in early November.
