Russia destroys 10 drones in Kursk region, governor says
The governor of the Kursk region of the Russian Federation, Roman Starovoyt, said that early in the morning 10 drones were destroyed in the region.
In the Kursk region, the air defence system shot down six aircraft-type drones, and four more UAVs were suppressed by electronic warfare.
According to him, there were no casualties or destruction. “Attention, do not approach or touch the wreckage! Often UAVs have a self-destruct timer; only sappers can neutralize them,” Starovoyt said on Telegram.
The Russian Defence Ministry reported that on the night of today, October 18, 28 Ukrainian drones were intercepted and destroyed over the territory of several regions. According to the department, UAVs were also shot down over the territory of the Belgorod region and the Black Sea.
