Russia downs 51 Ukrainian drones overnight

Russia’s Defence Ministry said its air defences intercepted and destroyed 51 Ukrainian drones overnight across several regions, including areas near the border and over the Black and Azov seas.

According to the ministry’s statement on Telegram, 12 drones were shot down over the Saratov region, 11 over Volgograd, and eight over Rostov. 

Six were intercepted over Crimea, while four were brought down in both the Bryansk and Voronezh regions.

Three drones were reported destroyed over Belgorod, and one each over the Kursk region and the waters of the Azov and Black seas.
