Russia: Evacuation at Crocus Expo exhibition centre, visitors briefly left outside VIDEO

An evacuation took place at the Crocus Expo exhibition centre in Krasnogorsk city of the Moscow Oblast, Russia.

Many visitors were left outside without outerwear, Gazeta.Ru reports, citing Telegram channels,

Visitors have begun to be allowed back into the building, most of them women. The centre is hosting a two-day international perfume and cosmetics industry exhibition.

Preliminary reports indicate that the evacuation was due to a false alarm.

The exhibition center is located next to the Crocus City Hall concert hall, where a terrorist attack occurred on March 22, 2024. Armed gunmen opened fire on concert hall patrons with automatic weapons and set the building on fire. According to the Investigative Committee, 149 people were lost, one remains missing, and the total number of injured has reached 609. Property damage is estimated at approximately six billion rubles.
