Russia expects Armenian PM Pashinyan to attend CIS informal summit

Russia expects Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan to attend the informal summit of leaders of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) to be held in St. Petersburg in late December, said Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin.

“We hope that everyone we invited will come to St. Petersburg, including Pashinyan Nikol Vovayevich. Let's see what will happen there,” the deputy minister said, Caliber.Az reports citing Armenian media.

Earlier the Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov also said that they expect Pashinyan to attend the gathering.
