Russia: Firefighters containing blazes at Krasnodar oil depot After drone attack

Emergency services have extinguished two of the three fire hotspots at an oil depot in the Tikhoretsk district of Russia’s Krasnodar Region as of 9:00 a.m. Moscow time, the regional operations headquarters said on Telegram.

“Twenty firefighting teams, personnel from fire-rescue units, and specialists from the Main Directorate of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in Krasnodar Region are involved in the operation,” the statement said.

The fire at the depot broke out overnight from March 14 to 15 following the fall of debris from downed unmanned aerial vehicles. Officials confirmed that there were no casualties.
