Russia foils 110 terrorist attacks since start of 2024 - FSB chief
Russian law enforcement agencies have thwarted 110 terrorist attacks since the beginning of the year
This announcement was made by Alexander Bortnikov, Director of the Federal Security Service (FSB) and Chairman of the National Anti-Terrorist Committee (NAC), during a meeting focused on enhancing regional readiness to counter terrorist threats amid ongoing special military operations, Caliber.Az reports, citing TASS.
Bortnikov stated that citizens recruited by hostile forces were involved in the preparation of these attacks. Over 1,050 individuals have been detained for offenses related to terrorism, including the preparation and execution of terrorist acts, promoting and justifying terrorism, financing terrorist activities, and providing support to terrorists, according to the NAC information center.
