Russia imposes flight restrictions at four airports
12 September 2025 09:28
Russia’s Federal Air Transport Agency (Rosaviatsiya) has temporarily restricted flights at four airports, including Pulkovo in St Petersburg.
The measure, introduced overnight, also applies to airports in the cities of Ivanovo, Pskov and Yaroslavl, according to the agency’s spokesman Artem Korenyako, who announced the decision on Telegram.
He said temporary restrictions on the use of airspace in parts of the Leningrad region had affected flight corridors to and from Kaliningrad, potentially leading to changes in the schedule at Khrabrovo airport.
Korenyako stressed that the restrictions were necessary to ensure flight safety.
